Product Description
EXTRIMIR 168 is a multifunctional extrusion lubricant with unique high molecular weight, it was mainly used in the field of high load metalworking to improve performance and increase efficiency.
EXTRIMIR 168 can dissolve in oil; it can improve the properties of emulsified oil and semi-synthetic fluid, the efficiency same as stamping oil and wire drawing oil. It can replace chlorinated paraffin because of the high molecular weight.
EXTRIMIR 168 has excellent oxidative stability and biological compatibility because of the saturated branched aliphatic ester. In addition to replace chloric extreme pressure (EP) additive, it can also replace or decrease the addition of sulfurated, phosphorous EP additives, lard, blown oil and the other aliphatic friction modifiers.
EXTRIMIR 168 has light color, little smell and can completely evaporate after combustion; it can improve lubrication of products when used in water-soluble oil, semi-synthetic fluid.
EXTRIMIR 168 is an ash-free lubricant which is sulfur-free, non-phosphorus, chlorine-free.

Advantage
l Improving on EXTRIMIR 165 and better for water-based system;
l Decreasing the addition of emulsifier in the formula after neutralizing with amine;
l Compared with EXTRIMIR 165, EXTRIMIR 168 has better properties in anti foaming, defoaming, lubrication and extrusion when used in water-based system;
l Good biological stability due to the saturated structure of molecular;
l EXTRIMIR 168 has no corrosion to metal and can decrease the dosage of metal inhibitor because of good anticorrosion ability.
Application
l EXTRIMIR 168 can serve as an excellent lubricant to emulsion systems (emulsified oil, semi-synthetic fluid, stamping oil and wire drawing oil);
l According to the actual applying, 1-15% is appropriate.
l EXTRIMIR 168 can replace all fat and aliphatic compounds that can decrease microbial corruption;
l EXTRIMIR 168 can be used together with inactive sulfurated and phosphorous EP additives in cutting oil and industrial lubricant. The addition depends on the operating load.
